A little bit of chocolate…

choc cake

I recently went to a Thermomix party. Whilst I was pretty ambivalent about this expensive piece of kitchen equipment, after going to the demonstration, I was so blown away by its capabilities, that I am now totally committed to purchasing one when I can squeeze into the budget. If you are anything like me and like to make great food fast, then the Thermomix will become your best friend.

To anyone lucky enough to have a Thermomix, my demonstration host, Renee Stevens, (contact details below) shares her favourite Chocolate Cake recipe. This is gluten free, nut free and high protein. Dont be put off by the inclusion of beans. They don’t impart any flavour, but make the cake ridiculously moist and gorgeous. Whilst this is a Thermomix recipe, you can certainly make this in the traditional method. Happy baking.
